ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE ARGANZ MEETING 2027

Submissions close on: Sunday 29 November.
Review outcomes will be notified by: Sunday 20 December.

All RANZCR radiology registrars and fellows in training are invited to submit an abstract for the Mendelson Research Prize 2027.  

All radiologists, registrars, fellows and other trainees are invited to submit a poster relating to abdominal imaging. Share your research or present a review topic. 

ARGANZ is delighted to offer the Mendelson Research Prize to RANZCR registrars to encourage research in abdominal imaging.  You are invited to submit your research, with up to four finalists accepted for oral presentation at the annual ARGANZ meeting.

Before making your submissions, please ensure you read the full terms and conditions for the Mendelson Research Prize 

Poster abstract submissions written in English are also encouraged, and will be accepted from all registrars, fellows, other trainees, and qualified radiologists from anywhere in the world. 

• Abstracts are also to be submitted via the presentation portal by 29 November 2026.
• Members of the ARGANZ executive will review all submissions, and you will be notified of the outcome by 20 December 2026.
• Accepted posters will be required electronically, in the specified format and by the specified date for display at ARGANZ Meeting 2027, and for on-demand viewing on the conference platform until 30 June 2027.  Format instructions will be emailed with acceptance.
• Poster submissions will not be eligible for oral presentation, or the Mendelson Research Prize.
• The presenting author is responsible for seeking approval from all named authors on the submitted paper.
• All poster presenters must also be registered as in-person delegates for ARGANZ 2027.
