It was a huge surprise and privilege to be invited by Dr Aya Kamaya (LI-RADS Surveillance Co-Chair), to give the LI-RADS Surveillance lecture on behalf of our Working Group at the official RSNA LI-RADS session this year. Even more so, incredibly daunting, given I had the task of immediately following Dr Victoria Chernyak (LI-RADS Co-Chair), who gave an update on the much anticipated planned changes to LI-RADS CT/MR v2026.
Having not been to RSNA since 2018, it was an equally amazing and overwhelming experience, not only having the choice of a multitude of great educational sessions, but also having the chance to meet many of our prior ARGANZ international speakers, and continue building our relationships with SAR, ESGAR & ASAR (the North American, European & Asian abdominal radiology societies respectively). In particular it was wonderful to see Dr Harriet Thoeny again, and meet Dr Stephanie Nougaret, who together with Dr Maxime Ronot will be our three international guest speakers for ARGANZ in Perth, 28-29 March 2026!
