In early October, ARGANZ, in collaboration with Radiology Across Borders, was proud to support an abdominal imaging conference in Bali, Indonesia. ARGANZ Executive members Dr Teng Han Tan and Dr Arj Somasundaram joined Prof Suresh da Silva and Mary O’Dwyer as well as local faculty for two days of lectures and case-based teaching to an audience of 216 radiologists and trainees from across Indonesia.
The team was warmly welcomed by our Indonesian colleagues, whose hospitality and enthusiasm made the visit truly memorable. Beyond the academic exchange, it was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen international connections and share experiences with our radiology colleagues — all set against the stunning backdrop of Bali’s beaches and cultural richness. The collaboration reflects ARGANZ’s ongoing commitment to advancing abdominal imaging education across the region and fostering lasting relationships within the global radiology community.
